a kid walked into the pawnshop with this bass his dad (the original owner)left it to him some yrs ago, so the kid wanted a cooler looking bass so he traded it for one of those cheapo Ibanez flying V things & so now my friend (who works at this pawnshop)is selling this puppy for best offer, he does not play bass so he asked me would I help him out,the bass has been sitting untouched since who knows when (maybe the 60's?)ive plugged it in & played it....it's in perfect condition no issues at all!in and out I have more pics on my facebook page under 'keavin barnes' hit me up & i'll give you dudes phone # it's here in the Chicago area.

WOW!  The old No Upside Down Treble and No Upside Down Bass switches!  They don't make 'em like they used to!  Nowadays you just have to suffer through upside down bass and treble! lol

Tell him I'll give him the value of a used cheapo Ibanez Flying V bass plus $100.

I hope he gave that kid some cash along with it.

you know there really isn't much of a market out there for these and it'll sit for a while so the most I can offer your buddy is like $50 (said in the voice of Rick from Pawn Stars) I've always loved the look of those Club basses!

Assuming this is the Model 500/2 (which I believe it is based on the pic) and is actually of 1966 vintage, the Blue Book Value is as follows (based on condition):

98% - MINT - $1750
95% - EXC+ - $1400
90% - EXC  - $1125
80% - VG+  - $ 875
70% - VG   - $ 700
60% - G    - $ 575
