Title: 2 Alembics for sale--1996 Spoiler and 1991 Essence
Post by: terrapinflyer on December 17, 2015, 04:41:15 PM: '96 Spoiler 4 string, medium scale. Bocote top, mahogany body,Maple neck w/walnut pinstripes. Standard Spoiler electronics. I purchased from another club member about a year and a half ago (here's a link to the seller's ad when I bought it-http://club.alembic.com/Images/395/194822.html?1405627968 (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=13410)) it's been out of it's original hard shell case maybe a half dozen times since then.
Asking $1975 '91 Essence, long scale,4 string, Essence electronics with 3 way Q switch. All maple-body,neck and flame maple top-it's finished in blue (looks very similar to the essence that's currently for sale by another club member) Has major play wear on it but sounds fantastic. Non original hard shell case.Asking $1275 I'll try to get some current pics up in the next day or so. Only reason I'm selling is had my Volvo in the shop recently and was informed it wants a New transmission for X-mas (bah-humbug!) At this point I'm what you'd call a motivated seller so I'd welcome reasonable offers.

I have discovered 2 previously unnoticed hairline cracks in the top on the Spoiler- 1 on lower wing between the pickups and another between the pickup selector and filter knobs.In light of this I've dropped the price to $1600 plus shipping.
