Title: A very deep question...
Post by: toma_hawk01 on September 16, 2009, 02:03:07 PM
Sometimes I wonder if things were different...

Like...

What if Louis Johnson stayed loyal to exclusively playing Alembic Basses to the same degree or greater than Stanley Clarke...

Only a dream...

Yes, money will also weed out people that were not dedicated to the music as well.

It's just the human / instrument interface:  Most players hear many different sounds in their head, and usually have a collection of instruments to chase after those sounds.  Yes, you can get most sounds on one instrument, but then you don't get to take that picture of yourself sitting in the middle of your 'collection' !

Loyalty?  Lemme show you my beach house I'm selling in Arizona.

Oh the songs that have come from the influences of the weed. I am sure quite a few intruments have been purchased from the proceeds.
