I have emailed the pawn shop offering this...I trust that they will remove it promptly. If not, go get 'em, Val.

Jeez, that doesn't even deserve to be called a fake.  It's just a cheapo Precision copy with Alembic written on the head stock as far as I can see.

Metallica uses a bass like that on stage?  As what?  My son and I got a good laugh out of that.  The sad thing is that without people like you guys keeping tabs, some innocent person who has never seen the real thing, only heard the name, could be taken advantage of.  This pawnshop needs to be set straight.  Even if they don't know any better, they had to get their start and reserve from somewhere!

Just received an email from the seller...he is going to pull the auction and thanked me for bringing it to his attention. Seemed like a nice enough guy, probably just an honest mistake.

Funny, that's the same thing that happened the seven other times that bass, or its' twin, went up on the 'Bay.
