The Roman Conqueror is for sale again. 24 hour auction, $4,999 BIN, No reserve - opening bid $59. Where does it end?

Already over. Too funny.

And to think it sold for only $59. I was toying with the idea of $60, but who needs another movie star bass to sell...
-
I hear ya. My choice was dinner for my family at the local diner or the Roman Conqueror.
Hmmmmm.
It makes you think.

And back again . . . .

Well...wonders really never do cease - It's back again! This time the BIN is $6999, still no reserve, 24 hour auction and now bidders have to be preapproved by the seller (to use the term loosely). It's up to $405. Too rich for my blood.
-
And gone again.
Bill, tgo
-
So who really ownes this bass anyway?
-
the last time i made a post regarding the last sale of the conqueror, you may recall my postings that i had begun receiving a bunch of really bizarre emails from someone claiming to be the real owner. after i posted some of what he was sending me here on the forum, the emails stopped. i've pretty much convinced myself it was the fraudulent seller sending me those emails but i guarantee you whoever it was reads the forum posts. it's a shame a hurricane can't suck the fake seller out to sea so we can be done with it once and for all.

Hey guys. As some of you already know, I sold the real Roman Conqueror about two months ago to another club member using ebay's Auction Cafe. Of course, that hasn't stopped the blood-sucking leeches from practicing their trade.
I'm thrilled that this bass stayed in this country with one of our own. The buyer promised me that he would give the bass a great home.
I'm with you Patrick - I wish that these parasites would go away forever.
