The listing says this is a new bass.  That being the case, if you were thinking of ordering a new Series I, then this is certainly worth considering at this price.  It's a beautiful bass.

I was just there this afternoon and can attest that the above bass is there in the showroom, is new (its been behind glass since arriving at gguitars), is beautiful, and is one hell of a deal! At this price I would even send it back to the factory for a SII electronics....  
 
I'll be back down there on Friday if anyone wants me to test drive it.... 'Til then, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my custom...
