Waaayyyyyy too much. Hey, a fellow Portlander... Greetings.

Maybe we should start a Portland 'Chapter' of the club!

I am fairly new to Craig's List but unrealisticly high prices are what I have been noticing as I search around. It seems these people do'nt understand the concept of depreciation. A lot of items are priced at their retail or original selling price.
-
CL is, generally, flake central...a failure to understand depreciation is the least of their problems. That said, inflated prices are not the rule...I know a guy in Cali who got a rare walnut F***** P with a replacement neck for $85. You just have to be willing to spent a LOT of time looking for a good deal.
-
If not a Portland Chapter then at least a early warning list of Portlanders who have any Alembics for sale!

I am up for that! I am thinking of selling my Elan 6 to help further my dream of buying a Series I. If I sold the Elan, I would also consider sellng my F2-B if I needed more cash for the Series I.

Dude! Elan 6... send me pix!
Thanks,
