Yes, here (http://cgi.ebay.com/1993-Alembic-Essence-5-string-bass-Flame-Koa-top_W0QQitemZ7404969472QQcategoryZ4713QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) is the original listing; and yes, the new listing appears to be fraudulent.

The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.
 
This listing looked like one where the seller's account appeared to have been hijacked.  Perhaps the real account owner canceled the listing.
