Hello,
I am an ex epic 6 owner, and I miss it dearly, I am not on the search for another alembic 6, but can any body tell me what is the string spacing at the bridge on these basses. as I can't seem to remember.
thanks in advance.

Center of B to center C is 3.5
Spacing between strings is about .625

thanks lmiwa!
I should have said, I AM in the search for another 6
is the .625 spacing in between or is that center to center?
thanks

I measured the .625 between the strings. The actual center to center spacing varies based on the string thickness. I think Mica has an explanation of that somewhere.
If you're looking for a 6-string, my Walnut Rogue is available. You can see pictures at:

I'm asking $2800. Send me an e-mail if you're interested.

IIRC standard string spacing is center-to-center at the nut, and side-to-side at the bridge. You fret strings from above, and you strike them from aside.

Thanks for the info guys. and thats a breathtaking Rogue!!
most manufacturers talk about string spacing in reference to the bridge of the bass, mind due the spacing at the nut its important as well.
I find 19mm spacing very comfortable, and 17mm difficult to slap specially on a 6 string.
But I think my old Epic 6 was very wide and comfy. I just want to make sure..
Thanks again
I wish I could come up with $2800.00 !
