These two basses look exactly the same to me.
Maybe I should email them both asking for the serial numbers on the premise that I'm checking the spec with Alembic.... :-)

Hello, Jazzy, hi, Keavin,
I have seen quite a few auctions on eBay China in the last months. Stated in another thread that it is amazing how China developes :-). So many Alembics already available in China, LOL !
I sincerely believe they are all scams, do not waste your time nor money on these...
Merry Christmas & relaxing holidays to all of you,
Christian (the faker)

Thanks Jazzy, it's been reported.
Following from your report, I clicked on worldwide and found an Epic that had been listed in China 5 times; two of which were current listings and two of which had just completed with winning bidders. Kind of sad.

I've noticed some eBay auctions originating in China that look too good to be true. Cool looking (though probably cheap) electric guitars selling for a few cents! When you look closely, however, you notice a quite substantial shipping charge!
For example. here's a nice looking axe you can buy for $0.17, but shipping will cost about $240! Ebay is full of these!

But how could you skip this when buying from the seller gives you 5000 years of Chinese culture - including fertility!!
I have only the greatest respect for Chinese culture, so I'm not trying to be un-PC here. I've just never seen a guitar that comes with an explicit promise of fertility enhancement before today. I've certainly bought into the buy this ax, get the girl thing before (who hasn't?). But I've never seen a seller promise to take care of matters that come later, and have such import to the continuation of one's family legacy, etc. Under the circumstances, why would anyone fail to invest in this guitar. And for a mere $.17?
Don't pass this one up, guys. And let's hope he has more guitars to sell...

I've had a reply to my question for the serial number which is 04ST13201
Hmm I thought the Stanley Clarke signatures are either SJ or SC.....
