Yeah, I agree -- not as nut-bustingly pretty as the basses made after the early '80s, at least the ones I've seen, but still a really cool bass that comes pre-worn so I don't have to worry after the bass too much!

Interesting how they used to make the omega larger so that it didn't include the neck wood tips.

Actually I think the tips broke off on this one.

The tips on the above bass are damaged but Alembic did do some omega cuts like that.
