Some joker is trying to tell people that his 84' Spoiler listed for $12000 new! I told him the Alembic Police were watching.

Probably a typo from $1200, but it wasn't written as $1,2000 so who knows?

It has some minor electrical problems (pots need to be replaced)
 
I can't imagine that all the pots need to be replaced, but anyone interest in this bass should definitely try to nail down the electrical problems before bidding.  Replacing all the pots would not be inexpensive.
