Title: 76 Series 1 on Ebay
Post by: jimbobv on October 27, 2007, 11:17:49 PM
So I don't quite have that much money on hand, but I went to check it out today 10/27 Sat afternoon.  I'd say it's in excellent condition, slight buckle rash on the back.  Few minor dings here and there.  No fret wear.  Has recessed straplocks, and a neat thumb rest on the hum canceller.  S/N AE76 079.  It has the sound.

76Series1 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Alembic-Series-1-1976-model_W0QQitemZ200165155771QQihZ010QQcategoryZ4713QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Starting bid $3500, BIN $4000.  With case, P/S, 5 pin cord (only about 8 feet long).  He's not interested in trades.

Alas, I arrived back home and pulled out the Elan and then the clanky NT Modulus with AXY's - they are close but not quite the same.

Then I used the old j*zz on the party gig tonite.
