I just noticed this. One of our members has this guitar listed on ebay, and he gives the club a nice mention in his listing.
It's an unusual guitar (http://cgi.ebay.com/2003-Alembic-Orion-Exploiter-Guitar-Vintage-Yellow-LED_W0QQitemZ370019939535QQihZ024QQcategoryZ2384QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Looks like it has Skylark controls. Tinted Flame Maple top; nice looking Mahogany for the body. LED's. Very nice.

Dave,
it is more than unusual as this is no standard exploiter body.
Take a look at the lower front horn; it is much more protruded towards the neck than a normal Exploiter body.
This looks really crazy.....

You're right. I'm wondering if they did it that way because it's a set neck. Look at the back, where both horns curve in and meet at the heel. I'm guessing the normal shape didn't leave enough body for the neck joint pocket.

Beautiful guitar. I love it.
