How about this one?  If it were only a small standard.  Not that I could afford it anyway.

Oh, my goodness.  I was just listening to the Doobies on the car radio and commenting to my spouse about Tiran's alembic.  I think it's a sign.  Now if I accidentally trip over a bag of money on my way to the dog kennel this afternoon, I will know it is intended for me.

1973 Alembic Model 1 custom made for Tiran Porter, former bass player for the Doobie Brothers. Tiran played this bass on tour 1973-1975, comes W/ Bass Player mag, Sept. 2007, with interveiw, and picture of Tyran playing the bass. Comes with road case and power supply.

Just a guess here, but since it has the PF-5 electronics and the moustache tailpiece, I would say the serial number is in the upper 40's range.
