Title: Oceanburst Skylark on SF craigslist

I didn't see that anyone else had posted this find:  Oceanburst Skylark (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/msg/876466974.html). I'm pretty sure this is the guitar listed as Tealburst on our  Skylark page (http://www.alembic.com/prod/skylark.html). We originally sold it as an Oceanburst, but felt the variation with very little green at the center needed a new name.

Thank you Mica.  That is a very nice Skylark.  I am sure that the owner hates to sell it.  It shouldn't last too long.

Just for reference and thanks to Mica for some words of encouragement, I bought this Skylark. I'll let you guys know what you think mid week some time.

Congratulations Barry!  Your Alembic family is growing nicely.  You have a very nice guitar to add to your collection.  Play them in good health.

Thanks for asking Barry.  She is working out pretty well.  But I have not been spending the time with her that I would like.  I know she must feel neglected at this point.  I have been a little under the weather lately and very busy with other things.  But as the holidays approach, I plan to get reacquainted with her.  They are too fine to be confined to a case.

Wife was out last night so I got a good long time to play my new girl (amped up to 8). It is a better instrument attached to a fender amp than to a modern boutique amp for my taste. It took me a while to get used to the pickup locations (the rear pickup always seemed to be under my pick), but once I got the hang of it it played very nicely. It has beautiful tone and I had it squeeling for mommy by the end of the night.
