Title: What is a Blackknife worth?

I know this is not a Modulus forum, but I am curious whether this guitar is really worth 2.5K.  Is it?

I've seen that one for sale at that price for over six months. I would guess market value would be considerably less.

These come up with on e-bay a few times a year. $2,500 is pretty steep unless it has some distinctive custom features, was owned by Bob Weir, etc.

The Blue Book price on this guitar ranges from $525 for good 60% condition, to $1050 for excellent +  95% condition, up to $1200 for mint 98% condition.  This one has some mods and changed out parts, so $2500 is a bit much.  AND IT'S GREEN.
