Bummer :- (    The listing says it's from a bass neck.  If only it were from a guitar neck!  Oh well, as Paul, the bad one, is fond of saying: there will always be another  lol

I have an Essence, with no purpleheart stringers. Would this increase the sustain on my bass? ;)

Bid on it, throw some Gibson and Fender strings on it, and resell it for $100,000! That'd be the whippet's dinkle!

Andy, I'd forgotten about the whippet's dinkle.  Thanks for the laugh!  (Maybe this came from a tree that grew in Jerry Garcia's backyard?) hehehehe
