Post by: kenonbass on June 13, 2009, 08:06:10 AM
How's this one look? I'm very tempted but would have to sell something to fund.

Now the pictures are available.
It was  here the shop. (http://www.digimart.net/inst_detail.do?instrument_id=DS00541727)
The shop said Top wood is Koa., but I think it is not Koa.
The wood has dark tone like Rosewood, or old stained Vermilion that I think.
The serial number is 78' 1081, if my memory is correct.

Eiji,
You are an amazing photographer - never saw that many great pictures!  Great looking bass.  Todd

Hi Todd,

No, I am not the seller. (I also think the seller is good photographer.)
The bass is captured under my daily search.
I saw and touched it in Tokyo, but it is not my cup of tea.

Eiji, mine was just a joke. The pics were available, I just have never seen so many for an ebay auction.
They sure help the sale.

I think it looks very nice!  The top wood is nice.  The finish checking and wear appear to be normal and part of the vibe of an instrument of this vintage.  The truss rod cover does not look stock.
