Here's one (http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Alembic-Mark-King-6-string-guitar-burl-maple-etc_W0QQitemZ190318879423QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item2c4fe3a2bf&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50) you don't see every day. Very purdy wood. Minimalist controls.

I remember this one from a prior auction... notice the walnut inlays.

as far as electronics, it's the Spoiler of the guitars, none the less, i bet this baby has some sweet sounds... for an extreme price that is, seems a bit expensive to not be a series

Very nice! I especially like the back laminate.

The pics capture the depth in the wood.
The back laminates look akin to amber the way it glows.

That guitar was mine. Just sold, waiting for payment. Sorry to let it go, as it is absolutely beautiful, but I needed the cash. . . I am keeping the Tribute and early 1970's series I koa core bass, though. Is that wrong?

Jeff, whatever floats your boat.
We all do as we must. Beautiful guitars, but instruments can be replaced. Good luck on your sale and I hope you get paid soon. I would love to have a Tribute.
