The '81 is a 32 small body, which is rare, with a beautiful top! If this were in the states, Michael Delacerda might find this of interest.
-
The price on the Orion 5 looks pretty good for the UK; but the listing doesn't say whether it has a case.
-
I think the last Orion 5 that sold over here went for ?1,000 - seems to be the 'going rate' at the moment!
-
The fact that the listing does not say it's an Orion arouses my suspicions; does anyone own an Alembic Bass without knowing what model it is?
-
grateful - if you find an Alembic model name written somewhere on an instrument, it's usually a very cheap P-bass copy fraudulently labeled as an Elan. We've had loads of first-time posts on the Club from people who have no idea what model Alembic they own. ;-)
And then there are the customs - an Essence that looks like a Signature, a Series I that looks like a Distillate ... So model names can be, uhm, problematic.
-
Dave,
You know me well. That bass is a sweetie!
Michael

May I dare to strongly agree with you Michael ? That bass is a real beauty and also fairly priced in the european market.

Oops, double post.
