It's gone again. I guess he didn't get too many bites with it being Local Pickup Only and Cash as the only accepted payment method (from what I recall).
-
It can still be seen at the Dallas craigslist, re-listed on September 5th.

Jeff, Beautiful bass!

Agreed, that's a gorgeous bass. Wish I could make you a fair offer on it. How about a totally unfair offer?

I appreciate the feedback from you guys . I know it looks a little erratic , with all the postings and deleting on Craigslist but I have learned through many sucessful transactions that you have to keep an ad fresh , current and in front of the buyers or it gets lost in the hundreds of new postings on CL daily . I specified local pickup because of the hassle of shipping and also because I have seen first hand what UPS / FEDEX can do to an instrument . I worked 8 years as shipping / receiving guy for a music store here in Dallas . Good luck getting UPS or whoever to pay on a damage claim .

I have had first hand experience with UPS having Blatantly destroyed my gear on several occasions and having to fight them TOOTH AND NAIL to get them to pay for their butchery .You really have to set up a case where all odds are against them for them to pay up.It helps to have a pro audio business with a service department to write up a service estimate when it is electronic equipment other wise they will want to take your gear for their own evaluation and then your claim will go NO WHERE ! When they ruined my DOLBY 360 with cat.-280 from Pinewood Studios it took 3 months of hassling and a service invoice from a highly respected local Pro Audio shop to break them._ it was awfully tiring. That has been my experience more then just a few times and that's why I purchased both of my Alembic Bass's locally ___________
