I've been looking for an Oasis guitar for a few years now. This bass (http://cgi.ebay.com/1970s-Oasis-Custom-Shop-Bass-Moonstone-Alembic_W0QQitemZ150371339058QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item2302d48b32&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14) just showed up on ebay. Close, but no cigar for me. Thought it would be of interest around here.

I'm watching this auction. It looks like a nice bass. As long as the price doesn't go too high. These don't usually go for that much and this one is already priced higher than what they usually go for.

I asked him to measure the string nut to bridge saddle to the result of string length information which is 32 inch scale. I have no interest in the Bass other then helping disclose information for those that would like to acquire it.

I'm pretty sure that's the same bass Guitar Center just blew out for $599 after it sat for three years tagged at $1799.

Very cool bass, but failed to attract any bids at $899.
Must be part of the name game, unknown makes unwanted, looks like it's worth it.

I was going to buy it. But, he pulled the auction and sold it to someone else.
It was right up my alley. Medium scale too!

That's a shame, slim chance that it pops up again, seems like a keeper.

Yes, I was going to buy it from GC at the sale price but they wanted to charge me tax, which I do not have to pay. It also had a bridge problem (bent).
Anyway, I passed on it.
