Three very nice guitars on eBay from miami vintage guitars net (http://shop.ebay.com/miamivintageguitarsnet/m.html?_nkw=alembic&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3911.m270.l1313&_odkw=&_osacat=0)
Are the prices on these a little high, or do they have upgrades that merit the opening bid?

Miami Vintage Guitars is an Alembic dealer. All three guitars are listed as new. The Further is shown on their website as a 2008, the Tribute as 2009, and the Darling as 2006. The price on the Tribute appears to be significantly less than retail. Upgrades on the Darling include the Coco-bolo top, LEDs and gold plated hardware.

That buckeye figuring is wild. The darling is also quite handsome.

I have purchased 2 Alembics from Miami Vintage Guitars, one is a Custom Buckeye Burl Further and the other is a Stanley Clark Deluxe Signature bass. They were great to deal with and I have seen all thee of these instruments. The Further above is a 2009 I believe, not a 2008. The Darling is beautiful. I would love to take the Tribute, but I spent enough on toys this year. If anyone is interested, give them a call, Artie is realy easy to talk to and very knowlegeable.
