I was going to post  this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Alembic-Spoiler-Bass-1987-Model_W0QQitemZ160414742475QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item255976b7cb) but it was gone within a matter of minutes.  Hope someone here got it!

Hey, we don't often get to see that kind of koa here at the club!
 
Mica calls it watermark, which I think is very apt - I know because my 88 Spoiler has a similar top.

It was me; and I'm a guitar player. But an Alembic makes me want to play bass; a long-time fan of 'that sound'.
