I'm potentially interested in a short-scale Series I for which the asking price is $3,500. The body has significant checking but the seller indicates that it is in otherwise good shape. Front & back are maple, neck is maple with purple heart, & the headstock walnut. He does not have the power supply or cord. Are these still available from Alembic for a 30-year old instrument? I wasn't able to arrange see it this weekend but it's local so I'll be able to check it out. Is this a reasonable (i.e., fair) asking price given the lack of power supply and condition?

That's a good price for the very desirable short scale S1 and power supplies are available from Alembic (but I would look for a used one first).

Hi, if you want, I have a power supply DS5 from 1982 wich is at Alembic factory. Give me 200 USD on paypal and ask Mica to send you this DS5 (you will paid additional cost for shippimg to Mica). Cord are available at factory of course.

If Brian doesn't want you DS5 I'll take it. This is the box, not the rack mount unit, right?

Pierre-Yves,
Do you still have that Blue Box? I realize that Bill asked first, so he'd have first dibs, of course, but just in case. I really need it for that Series II Guitar I just bought from Josh, and I really need a lot of parts. Any help any of you guys could give me would be great!!!
Thanks!!!
