 Here's (http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-PEREZ-Fretless-Bass-Guitar-alembic-tobias-/190463140592?pt=Guitar&hash=item2c587ce2f0) an interesting bass I saw on eBay.  Definitely Alembic inspired.

That one is tempting me. But I am trying to hold out for an Oasis.

Yes , I like this one . The holes look correct to convert it to   Alembic Distillate electronics & pickups !   That would be cool !

very nice bass, very nice wood work, more violin inspirated than Alembic, for me.

Looks like volume, tone, 3-way p/up selector, phase, & 2 coil-taps to me.

Nice looking bass, and not far from my place..
