Title: Distillate / SC on eBay - possibly medium scale

Distillate in the SC shape, with a quilted sort of bird's eye maple top.

Guys... Starting at $3,500.00!!
I am an original owner of an \81 Distillate with a Purpleheart top. OK its not the SC shape, and by the way my strap button only originally (- moved it to the back of the neck - which did not help), resides on the upper horn not the center/back of the neck. Anyways I can\t honestly think of asking that price IMHO.

I'd have to agree with the ??? asking price. My Distillate's a walnut '83 in top shape and I purchased it for $1,900 about a year ago. While its not the SC shape that's a lot of additional $$ to pay for a shape.

They went for $1,800.00 brand new in \81. Dealer price in IL. Mine only a little less with PH top.
Could not touch the zebrawood for less than full price.
Still thats brand new $$ even though it was almost 30 years ago.

No bids, but it's back up again with the starting bid decreased to $2,800. At this pace, sometime around next March it might actually get down to a reasonable (i.e., it has a chance of actually selling) starting bid.
