Thought I'd point out some basses that y'all might find interesting.
69 P with Alembics for 1900 in Berkeley:

And a very pretty 76 fretless P with Alembic guts for only 800 in Vegas. If this was near me I would've bought it already.

that 76 is breath taking, you can always ask if they'll ship it, that's how i got my Gibson Victory Artist bass, i know if i had the money i'd be asking

that 76 is breath taking,
yeah, it looks a lot like a Peavey T-40!!!!!
lol.... just joking Taylor... did you ever swap your Ibanez for that???

haha, it's all good Mike, i needed a good little joke. sadly i didn't because i was getting ready to ship it out and the guy sent me a message saying he decided he was going to trade with someone else, guess that's just how things go though :/, i was really looking forward to that T-40 also

Too tough to confirm the real ages or even that they are Fenders from a distance. Also, Alembic pickups on the '69 doesn't guarantee a matching preamp. Still, if the '69 were a Jazz, it would be quite interesting. Be careful to get what you pay for.
