very nice bass, some aftermarket hardware but helps lower the price :p. I'd be all over this if i hadn't just bought a bass.

Ooh! A maple fretboard is pretty rare on a fretless (at least as far as I've seen), I wonder how it sounds. Anyone care to weigh in on the the pros/cons of a maple board?

I have an old 72 Fender Fretless maple neck / finger board on a custom solid walnut body in the stable that I picked up in 92 . I rarely play that one anymore but I can tell you that mine looks like it has a factory finish on it and therefore is completely sealed. I have always just used flat wounds on it and kept it clean. I have considered installing Alembic pick ups in it.

I know that John Paul Jones used a fretelss p-bass with a maple board on In My Time Of Dying live with Zeppelin, and the bassist for the band MuteMath uses one on a song called Obsolete which is an instrumental that's worth checking out.

Went for $777.77. Probably a good price, having not seen the actual bass. And a neat number.
