Those cones look pretty beat up for being behind such industrial grilles. I wonder what caused the punctures in the 10?

I did notice the punctures in the 10 ,however I have repaired worse with positive results. Those holes are not in the most critical area.  If the 18 is in good shape it would be worth it . I have an 18 Gauss  in an old Alembic A-18 cabinet and it really moves some air ! That one is one of my keepers.

Yeah, it would be pretty easy to fix. I have a 12 Gauss that resides in a monitor these days. I had a couple more back in the day that needed to be reconed that got abandoned when I moved to Boston. Nice drivers, although it does take some juice to get them to move.

Edwin, yes they do need a bit of  juice  , efficiency is not one of their virtues.
