Title: Series 1 at Guitar Rez

Man, this bass has been at Guitar Rez forever. Has anyone tried it out before?  Looks interesting, although there is no power supply with it.

That's my old bass.  I sold it to them a while ago for $2500.  It's big, heavy and has a maxed out truss rod.  With low-tension TI Jazz rounds, the action is low enough to be very playable.

What does a maxed out truss rod mean??

Looks like a sibling to my Series I guitar. They made quite a few instruments with birdseye maple top/backs in 76 from what I've seen.(http://club.alembic.com/Images/395/132648.jpg)
