If you have the money do the buy it now! I can imagine this selling in the 3k range because of the rarity of it

Probably higher than that - buy now is gone. $3500 is probably a good deal. What was buy now price?

the BIN was $2700 which was a very good price

I would have bought it. If anyone really wants it, they ought to try contact and an offer of $2700. Highly unlikely that it stays below that if it goes to end of open auction.

I played one of those in maple, complete with the not-a-cone cone headstock, back at Vic Zinn music in '83 or so and man, what a bass!
