Is it me... or there is some kind of screw hole in the lower bout (last pic) on this bass? Why would someone want to do that...?
 
Me likey.  A wonderful alternative to those single-pickup Zon basses Ive been seeing some prog-rockers playing with. ;)

i noticed that hole, too. i emailed the seller to see if he'd consider bringing the bass into manhattan, because i'm obviously too lazy to go to staten island to get it... but he seemed pretty firm on pick up only.
definitely a good price... i might have to reconsider my laziness.
