Apparently I'm the highest bidder at 100.00. I have to believe it's a misprint... not sure how it'll be a scam. Anyway, have fun bidding on this. I'm not actually in the market for this, so if someone else gets it for, say $150, I won't be hurt

Scam

It's a hijacked account.

I'm sure it is. Just not sure how it works. He's got a TON of other vintage and new instruments listed, all at 88 bucks or so (a few standout exceptions with much higher value), and has been doing this for a long time. So i'm interested in how he can scam this for so long, with positive reviews.

Mark; I don't think he's been doing it for a long time. It looks to me like the account has been hijacked. Go to the list of all the auctions. Click on a clothing auction. Now click on a guitar auction. Notice the difference. The guitar auctions say contact me before bidding and I can only be reached at my work email which is a gmail account. The clothing auctions are legitimate. The guitar auctions are hacked.

I just received an email from the account owner ...
Please do not bid or purchase on this item, it is not mine. MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED and Ebay working on resolving this issue.
Thanks
