I just got a great deal on mics that I thought I'd pass along.  Sweetwater.com is having a sale on Blue enCore mics.  The enCore 100, (passive dynamic - think SM57), the enCore 200, (active dynamic), and enCore 300, (live vocals condenser - used on American Idol), are all on sale - buy one,  get one free.  I just ordered two enCore 300's for $199 total - no tax & free shipping.
 
I don't work for either Blue or Sweetwater.  I just sing and my research suggests this is a killer deal on a great sounding live application mic.

I'd be all over this deal but I just picked up another Rhodes in need of some TLC today...  
I'm mostly a senheiser guy, but a pair of 300's would be a nice addition to the box.

Got my Encore 300s.  Love 'em!  AB'd with both a Shure SM58 Beta and an Audix.  The Blue kicks butt!  Great vocal mike, especially for males with a lower range.  Gobs of headroom compared to the others.  Tomorrow is the last day of the sale.  I just ordered another two ($200 for both!).  Anyone want to buy some Beta 58s?
