That is one beautiful Europa! Does anyone have any idea approx. what it would cost to ship to the U.S. and approx. what duty or tariffs would be for a bass like that?
-
I do recall reading somewhere that you don't pay import duties on things that were originally made in the USA and returning, but I'm sure someone on here from the USA would be able to confirm that.
-
There are usually no duties or import taxes for an item manufactured in the US and being returned to the US. You might have some customs broker fees from the shipper. I would expect any international shipping company to be able to assist in obtaining the correct declaration forms. Here is a link (https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/375/~/duty-on-u.s.-made-goods-returning-to-the-u.s.) to the US Customs page covering it.

Hmmm... a red five-string Alembic. Okay, where's Joey?! =)
Man, that's a nice bass.

Well, obviously, only the exceptionally cool play red basses. I highly recommend it. With Dual FatBoys.
