Extra-purpleheart-neck-laminate-ALERT! =)
Bonus points for hammered brass backplates.

Bonus point for reflections of garden tiles in perfectly flat brass backplates, methinks.
-
I also thought the back plates were hammered when I first looked, they do look excessively shiny... nice bass.

Doh!
At least you guys know where my mind was! =)

35 inch scale is what scares me. Hard enough to handle a 34 in a standard body let alone an extra inch of real estate.
-
Brian is a reputable seller, so he should know. But with that position of the bridge it looks like 34 inch to me...
(in my reasoning, for 35 inch the bridge should be closer to the bridge volume control)
-
I send Brian a mail and got a swift reply, he's sure its 35 inch.

It would be interesting to string this specimin with a light gauge set of strings tuned B/E/A/D .

The backplates are plated like the other hardware... no tarnishing :-)
