Wow,I received my new Purpleheart Rogue 5 today,sat down with it,played it for about an hour,took a phone call,got a festival gig,packed and took off.I played a two hour show this evening with the Rogue 5 and it was the best sounding show I've done yet.Usually I would have been playing the Epic 4 and now it may be sitting in it's case for a while.I left the festival,went straight back to the hotel and pulled out the Rogue and have been playing it for a couple of hour's now.I just took a little break to borrow a friends lap top to file this little report.
My thanks to Mica,Mary and everybody at Alembic for providing me with a truly superior bass.
My thanks to Beaver Felton at Bass Central for getting the deal all hooked up for me.
The festival is still going on,great bands and all,but I think I'll stay right here and play some more.
