Hey guys my next gig is at Womad in Gran Canaria (Spain). I'm currently the lead guitarist for Apache Indian & The Reggae Revolution band.
In case you have not heard of him Apache Indian is an artist that has linked traditional Asian sounds with influences from mainstream Pop, Reggae and Hip Hop. Born in Handsworth (Birmingham, England).
The Reggae Revolution band are a well known band who have worked extensively around the world, primarily with Pato Banton and have toured in the states, Europe and South America many times per year for over 12 years.
I have recently re-joined the band having toured previously with them in the states in 1992.
We will be playing on Friday night the 5th November.
You can find out more from the womad web site www.womad.org (http://www.womad.org)
Apache's web site http://www.karmasound.com (http://www.karmasound.com)
Reggae Revolution Web Site: http://www.reggaerevolution.net (http://www.reggaerevolution.net)
We have been told the agents/bookers etc for the other WOMAD festivals around the world will be attending as well, so If all goes well we could get booked to do most or all of the Womad festivals worldwide in 2005....
So rehearsals are being fine tuned for this gig nothing to chance.
Has anyone here been there?

ps: here is a shot from our last concert at Birmingham Artsfest 2004
