Well folks.
Last night I played a gig with my good friend, CHris Chavez. It was a lot of fun. We played at Koinonia Koffeehouse in Campbell, CA. Koinonia is a ministry that my boss has been running for about 16 years now and they have alwys provided some great music and ministry along with some mediocre coffee.
We had quite an eclectic crowd last night. The age range was about 8-80. And we were well recieved by all.
If you want to see the pics from the show they are here:http://rianvdm.smugmug.com/gallery/3325029 (http://rianvdm.smugmug.com/gallery/3325029)
There are some great pictures of me playing my basses.
The photographer is a friend of ours and one of our Worship Leaders. He's an amazing photographer. I think he missed his calling as a rock 'n' roll photographer.
Enjoy

Looks like a lot of fun-your SII has a Kahler, yes?
Those are some great photos-gigging barefoot is the best! ;)

Yes it is a Kahler. Kevin Thompson from Sweet Comfort Band had it put on right after he got the bass in 1980. It's really cool to have it. I mainly use it to bend harmonics.
I'll be playing there again in 3-4 more weeks.
