Writing session with the Cyberiam and my '84 Spoiler. That bass has really become my go-to with this band, though the Distillate Exploiter is absolutely still in rotation (and my Ric 4003S). The Spoiler will make its recorded debut on at least one of our two new tunes. Can't wait to share!

A few years ago, I was sitting Bill's couch & he was handing me guitar after guitar*; when I saw Woody coming, I took the camera out of my pocket & set it in Florence's lap.
And She immediately went outside to talk to Tina.  So no pics of me with it.  But it is a sweet piece of functional art!

*He brought in 3; tuned one, gave it to me, and started tuning the next one.  When I was on the 3rd one, he took 2 back & brought 2 more.  I think this went on for about 45 minutes; Senior Management insists it was more than
2 hours.........

He does indeed have some great instruments, some of which I got to see at his previous home when I visited California for the annual Alembic Meet in 2012.

so our band's been going thru some changes.  got a new singer.  revising our material around her.  gotta come up with some new promo.  turns out our keyboard player's wife is a dab hand at AI photoshopping.  so she took a mashup of our old live shots, X'd out the old guy, stuck in something she lifted off the new singer's bandmix profile and voilà!.  new promo shot.

not sure i'm good with this.  it turned my SII back into a 4-string and transformed the omega cut into plier jaws.  not sure what it did with my backline.  put a mustache on our drummer.  stuck one of his cymbals behind his head.

can't really say if this is actually a pic of me playing my alembic.  but it is kind of amusing.  imho.  ymmv.
