Looking good Jeff. Happy Birthday indeed.
A question for those that know - how do Alembic fill the holes in the wood, particularly the ones above the square electronics cavity and the 'cats eyes' Jeff mentioned?

if i am not mistaken jacko
the only filler they use is the actual spray finish..they will spray until it fills up
those one the back are scooters eyes....if you take a look back at the original pieces

and i won an alembic fx-1 on ebay,,,,,

keith_h

I thought Alembics were all natural, No fillers, binders, etc. LOL .... by the way Jeff looking good.

actually according to val- they do use super glue to fill in as it is thick and clear and basically saves on spraying on tons of finish to fill pockets..

flaxattack

val also advised that this is the initial carving and when the neck is joined to the body
the actual 'classico carved edge will be routed out......
and thanks to all....
