That's tiny.  When I left for university to study bass, i took my bass in a giant fibreglass - or whatever drum cases are made of - coffin, big enough for Frankenstein.   My residence roommate definitely drew a short straw.  The thing took up almost all the floor space in the room.

Yes ,  My point ... ... ... I have seen those monster cases. The one above is liveable  as far as size goes .A nice case it seems.

Mica gave me a tracking number today. Should be here within the next week.

Awesome, congrats!

I find the case pic a bit offensive, I've never done anything wrong to it (as far as I can remember) :-)

Plz post many pics when she arrives!

I bet Mica is pleased to see it go. It sure took up a lot of space.

Just thought I'd let everyone know the bass arrived in nyc safely on Monday. Going to have to work through a bit of an electronics problem, but otherwise.. all is well.
Here she is making some new friends:

Wow, some serious gear around, am I seeing a Studer 2? Nice...

Hope you solve that electronic issue quickly.
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!

Hawt.  Good to see this finally living with you.  I loves me a nice Studer.  Fabulous machines.

What's the electronics issue?

tbrannon

Sorry to hear about the electronics gremlin, but pretty happy to see that beautiful instrument in your hands.

Other than the electronics issue- does it play as well/sound as well as you expected?
