Hitting Eddie's Guitars next week is this gorgeous baritone Crest guitar - the first of its kind! 20260522_BaritoneCrestAE.jpg

The burst is our new colorway of "Autumn Equinox" which blends from ancient amber to bright burnt orange to rich earth at the edges.

Indian Rosewood headtock front veneer (because the fingerboard is also Indian Rosewood). Inlaid logo is bronze with golden mother of pearl and red abalone.

Polished brass hardware is the perfect choice here.

As are the amber and red side LEDs.

Just wanted to share here on the club first. There's a standard long-scale Crest guitar coming up soon in Walnut, so stay tuned!

This one has been hard to keep to myself. We're getting another one going right away for the showroom because we all miss it already.

That's a fun concept. I really like the snazzy switchplate.

Beautiful, I knew the Crest would work great as a guitar :)

Really pretty and this model looks like a great addition to the Alembic lineup! Feel bad saying it but as nice as the Crest bass looks I prefer this type of body shape for a guitar.

senmen

Wow, what a beauty!
And congrats to all at Alembic for creating another masterpiece and....Mica, how could you keep that secret? 😉

I like that burst! 🤩

*curious about what the electronics are? Master volume, two filters... a dimmer for LED's, and a 3-position blade switch?

I have to confess that I have never found the aethetic of single cut style basses or guitars to be my taste. However this one is so elegantly done, what's not to like. Well done. I'm sure somewhere in the forum archives, I read alembic were not interested in making single cuts. I'm curious as to how the crest shape came to be. It's so cool. 👍🏾😁. ???

Kind of like a cross between a Tele and a Godin LGX, but with more elegant lines.

That is amazing!
I love the shape (I started on a Tele, so unlike Jazzy I have always loved single-cuts), the finish is delectable, and as David said the old=school-Alembic plate on the 3-way is killer.
But I would be remiss if I did not add, that might well be the most perfect logo I've seen yet!
I doff my chapeau to all the fine folks who work this magic.
